Cups, Mugs, and other beverage-related pieces.

A lot of potters get tired of throwing mugs over and over because we often have to fulfill orders that request the same(ish) shape in large quantities; however, I find mugs to be both peaceful and relatable. Everyone loves a good, hot beverage whether it’s tea, coffee, hot-buttered rum, or even cocoa. What people don’t like are mugs that get too hot while leaving your beverage tepid and lackluster. The main goals that I consider when creating mugs are to create pieces that intrigue the senses, that feel great in the hand, and that retain a sense of personality.
